NMCRA HOT SHOT COMPETITION
The Northern Maine Community Recreation Association is hosting the annual Hot Shot Competition! This competition tests a player's ability to shoot from five "hot spots" marked on the court. Each contestant will test their speed, shooting, dribbling, and rebounding ability.
Sign up now to compete in our local competition, held at the Rec Center. If you place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, in your respective age group, you will have the opportunity to compete in the Northern Maine Competition in Caribou on March 23rd!
Our first two days of the program will be for practice and learning how the competition goes. The last day will be our competition day. Do you have what it takes to be a Hot Shot?
How old you will be by December 31, 2023, will determine your age group!
Age Groups: 9-10, 11-12, 13-15
Dates: February 27, & March 6, 13
Time: 3:15-4:00 (All ages practice and compete at this time)
Where: Houlton Rec Center
Entrance Fee: $20 Houlton Resident / $30 Non-Houlton Resident
