Mountain Biking
Join us to explore off trails in the county! This is great for both new and experienced bike riders! We will teach beginners the skills and confidence needed to ride. All trails will be tailored for beginner skill levels.
Trails:
-Penobscot River Trails in Grindstone, ME
Dates: Fridays, August 9, 16, 23
*You may choose one or all three days!
    *There will be a mandatory prep session the Thursday before each trip at 6:00pm at the Houlton Rec Center. We will fit you to a bike at this time.
Time: Leave the Rec at 9:00AM and return by 2:00PM 
Limit: 6 Participants
Ages: Grades 5 - 8
Cost: $10 per day Houlton Resident / $15 per day Non-Houlton Resident
Registration: Required!
Equipment Info: Bikes will be provided! Participants need to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sneakers. Bring a backpack, snacks, and a water bottle.

Helmets are required! If you do not have a helmet, please make arrangements with us prior to registering!
